One of the questions I am asked often involves pastoral compensation. here are some sample appraoches to compensation.
1. Use median salary of the congregation as a basis.
2. Use the salary of public school teachers in your area with similar education and expirence.
3. Use other church information. The Southern Baptists publish a yearly compensation report which may be helpful for you to base salaries on. It can be found at Compensation Study
